Van Exel Addresses Youth Group

New Trail Blazer Nick Van Exel visited the Blazers Boys and Girls Club to host a question and answer session for some of the young children.
He took questions from a group of over one hundred summer club visitors. From how long he would play in the nba to what he likes to do in the summer, he answered all of the questions in stride.
Nick took questions from several of the club visitors as well as talking about his love for the game of basketball and why he came to Portland.
After the session, he received a tour of the facility from members of the club's leadership program. They walked him through reading rooms, computer rooms, the science room and recreation room and finished off in the game area.
The club members offered a reception of fruits and snacks to welcome Nick to Portland. The kids in attendance at the event today presented Nick with a welcome banner signed by everyone at the club.
