Santa Stoudamire’s Shopping Spree

For the fifth year, Damon Stoudamire played Santa to 75 kids by treating them to a shopping spree at Toys R Us Lloyd Center.
Kids ages 4-12 from Project Network and the Healthy Birth Initiative had a chance to buy gifts for themselves and others thanks to Stoduamire's generous holiday donation.
“Each year I look forward to hosting this shopping spree. Running up and down the aisles with the kids lets me return to those youth filled days of Christmas," said Damon.
The kids and their chaperones arived by a chartered bus for an evening of shopping. Each child received a gift card for $150 to purchase some of their most sought after gifts.
"I got the doll I wanted, and I got to buy my brother a spiderman doll," said one little girl.
The Multnomah County Healthy Birth Initiative (HBI) supports 160 families and 300 children through health education, leadership development personal growth aide.
Project Network is a holistic and therapeutic community of services promoted by the Legacy Health System to help chemically addicted, pregnant women end the cycle of substance abuse. Serving approximately 70 women and their children, the network goal is to focus on the wellness of the entire family unit.
