Nate McMillan Heads Walk For Fitness

Trail Blazers Head Coach, Nate McMillan, served as Grand Marshal and kicked off the African American Health Coalition's 3rd Annual Wellness Within REACH Walk, on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Dawson Park in North Portland. Longtime community resident and businessman Paul Knauls Sr. served as Community Grand Marshal and welcomed McMillan to the Rose City. Hundreds walked in celebration of our community's health and in support of the AAHC's free physical activity classes program, which serves more than 1,500 Portland-area African Americans.
"I look forward to being an active member in Portland's African American community and participating in the Wellness Within Reach Walk seems a natural place to start," said Trail Blazers new head coach, Nate McMillan.
