The Trail Blazers 3rd Annual Get Well Tour, presented by LifeWise Health Plan of Oregon, is an annual program where Blazers players and coaches visit children at three Portland children’s hospitals: Legacy Emanuel Children’s Hospital, Doernbecher, and Shriners.
Kids were treated to backpacks filled with prizes including a hat, a t-shirt and a Polaroid picture with a player or Blaze.
The Blazers Get Well Tour , presented by LifeWise brought smiles to the faces of more than 500 children this year, with many more to come. Because when they smile, we all win.
"It's nice to be able to spend times with kids and focus on things outside of basketball. It means a lot to the kids when we come see them, and the smiles on their faces make my whole day," said Zach
