Blazers Visit School for Read to Achieve

Celebrating Dr. Seuss' 100th birthday, Trail Blazers Eddie Gill and Travis Outlaw visited with elementary students at Tigard High School today.
Tigard High School annually brings in local elementary students to emphasize reading. Eddie and Travis addressed the assembly first thing in the morning before going to practice.
The students in the school were surprised by the visit
and very excited to see two NBA basketball players in their school.
The two Trail Blazers talked about the importance of reading and what it meant to them. They also talked about their favorite books and encouraged students to spend more time reading.
