Blaze visited Sabin Elementary School on Tuesday, May 27 to help the school celebrate the completion of a year-long reading goal for the students.
Last September when Sabin Elementary School released it's second Sabin Blazers book, the Blazers challenged the students to set reading goals for the year with the promise that if they all met their goals, the Blazers would come back at the end of the year and throw them an ice cream party.
The students worked towards this goal all year long and Tuesday culminated their year-long effort by every student and teacher to reach the goals set by each child in the school.

Blaze turned up on a beautiful 85 degree day to congratulate the students, read a book with them (Three Billy Goats Gruff) and to host an ice cream party for all the students and staff. Parents came to celebrate with their kids as well and the day could not have been more perfect to celebrate with ice cream.
Sabin students are currently working on their third, and last, installment of Sabin Blazers to be released at the beginning of next year.
