PAL Youth Center
The PAL Youth Center provides youth with a wealth of opportunities, as well as providing positive role models to assist youth in making smart decisions and realizing their potential. Team members will do a 'Room Makeover', painting the room, building furniture, and hangin curtains.

Blazers Boys and Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area's mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
  • Volunteers will be helping with the annual cleaning and painting project.

    Rose Festival Float Decorating
    Studio Concepts maintains a year-round float construction shop in Portland, Oregon. For years they have built all of the commercially sponsored floats for the Portland Rose Festival's Grand Floral Parade.
  • Volunteers are needed to help decorate floats.

    Oregon Food Bank
    Oregon Food Bank is the hub of a statewide network of 870 hunger-relief agencies serving Oregon and Clark County, Wash. Oregon Food Bank recovers food from farms, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, individuals and government sources.
  • Volunteers are needed to repackage bulk food items for distribution to individual families around the area.

    Bikes for Kids
    The Community Cycling Center was founded in 1994 with a mission of building skills and fostering the personal growth of youth through community-oriented recreational and educational bicycle programs and services.
  • The Community Cycling Center, needs volunteers to help tear down and clean (or recycle) donated bikes and bike parts. The Center mechanics will use their magic to turn these reclaimed parts into “new” bikes for kids and commuters of all ages.

    Meals on Wheels
    The mission of Loaves & Fishes is to enrich the lives of seniors and assist them in maintaining independence by making nutritious food, social contacts, and other resources accessible.
  • Volunteers will assist in a garage sale fundraiser.

    Portland Parks and Recreation's Rec & Roll Bus
    Portland Parks & Recreation is part of the City of Portland and is the steward of 10,000 acres of land at more than 250 locations including a multitude of community and neighborhood parks, natural areas, recreational facilities, gardens, and trails. It also offers thousands of recreation and enrichment opportunities for people of all ages. The mission of Portland Parks & Recreation is to ensure access to recreation opportunities and enhance Portland’s natural beauty.
  • Volunteers are needed for the Rec & Roll Bus program. Our team would do arts and crafts and barbecue hot dogs with Portland youth.

    Habitat for Humanity
    Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. They welcome all people to join them as they build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter.
  • There is a new project that begins in mid-June at 83rd and SE Lambert where a 16-home community will be built.

    Serve It Up
    The Union Gospel Mission provides meals and addiction recovery services for its homeless clients.
  • Normal volunteer opportunities include serving hot lunch and bagging lunches. Special projects include painting and cleaning the facilities.

    Schoolhouse Supplies
    Schoolhouse Supplies collects new and used supplies from businesses and individuals in our community and uses these items to stock a unique store for Portland Public School teachers - where everything is free! The program touches the lives of thousands of children in need and helps teachers create an exceptional learning environment.
  • Volunteers will stuff backpacks for annual "Tools for Schools" program.

    Ronald McDonald House
    Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and SW Washington provides, as its cornerstone program, temporary lodging, comfort, and support for families of seriously ill and injured children who are being treated at nearby medical facilities, and supports related efforts to improve children's health.
  • Volunteers are needed for painting, yard work, cleaning and making lunch for guests.

    SEI's Annual Golf Tournament
    SEI's 13th annual Community Golf Challenge will be held in August.
  • Volunteers are needed to help with decorating, traffic control, serving drinks, and monitoring Par 3’s (in case there is a hole in one).

    Project Linkage
    Through Metropolitan Family Service, Project Linkage coordinates almost 400 volunteers throughout the year who provide assistance to older adults and people with disabilities.
  • Volunteers are needed for services including yard work and home repair.

    Community Vision
    Community Vision Inc., located in Portland, Oregon, is a non-profit organization which provides living and employment support for persons with developmental disabilities. C.V. empowers people to live and work in the communities of their choice. Every supported individual lives in their own apartment or home. This opportunity provides choice and control in each person's life.
  • Volunteers are needed to help garden or paint homes.

    Morrison Child and Family Services
    This organization has provided a range of educational, social and mental health services to troubled children and their families in Oregon for more than 30 years.
  • Volunteers are needed for landscaping and other projects.

    Albertina Kerr Centers
    Albertina Kerr Center’s board members, employees and supporters are strong advocates for the most vulnerable citizens in the community that the agency serves: severely abused children, families in crisis, at-risk teens, and adults and children with developmental disabilities.
  • Volunteers may be needed for help in many areas of the organization, possibly assisting with programs for children, group homes serving people with developmental disabilities, with the public, at special events or with The Shops at Albertina Kerr.

    SEI's Annual Art and Soul Gala
  • Volunteers are needed to assist in the set up for SEI's annual banquet.

    Trillium Family Services
    Trillium Family Services is one of Oregon's largest private, non-profit providers of mental health programs and services to children, ages 1-18.
  • Upcoming volunteer opportunities include a Spring Campus Cleanup and Therapeutic Garden Help consisting of pruning, planting, weeding and other outdoor jobs.

    Get Out and Garden
    Portland Parks and Recreation's Community Gardens Program has been providing gardening spaces for people and neighborhoods around Portland for more than 25 years.
  • Volunteers help with working in the common areas of a local garden -- pruning, planting, weeding, and more.
