Chris Dudley

Chris Dudley was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 1987 NBA draft. Dudley joined the Portland Trail Blazers in his sixth season as a professional athlete during the 93-94 season. He went on to play with the New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns before returning to the Trail Blazers roster in 2001. Dudley remained with the Trail Blazers until his retirement from professional basketball in 2003. Dudley currently lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon and is Senior Vice President of M Financial Wealth Management.

He is currently CEO and founder of The Dudley Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing educational programs, advocacy, and supporting research for kids with diabetes. Through the Foundation, Chris established The Chris Dudley Basketball Camp; the only basketball camp in the country for children with diabetes. Chris has been recognized by many awards including the J.Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award in 1996, the USA Today’s Most Caring Athlete Award in 1997, and the Non-Partisan Award personally presented by President Bush in 2003; for his continuing charitable contributions to empowering kids with diabetes.
