Blazers Host Nets in Search of Back-to-Back Wins

The Portland Trail Blazers (23-35) continue a busy March schedule Saturday night when they welcome the Brooklyn Nets (10-50) to Moda Center. Portland began the month with a 114-109 come-from-behind victory Thursday night over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 33 points in the win, while his backcourt mate CJ McCollum scored 18. Newcomer Jusuf Nurkić put up 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and five blocks in his Moda Center debut. The Bosnian center is averaging 14 points since joining the Blazers from the Denver Nuggets on February 13.

The Nets visit the Rose City following their 50th loss of the season Friday night in Salt Lake City to the Utah Jazz. Quincy Acy led Brooklyn with 18 points off the bench in the 112-97 defeat, while center Brook Lopez scored 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the field.

Tipoff from Moda Center is set for 7pm as Kevin Calabro, Lamar Hurd and Brooke Olzendam provide local coverage of Saturday's contest on KGW. Brian Wheeler has the call on Rip City Radio 620 and the Trail Blazers mobile app.
