Nikola Jokic turned in an historic triple-double Wednesday night.

“Joker” scored 32 points, grabbed 21 rebounds and dished 10 assists in the Nuggets’ 98-95 win over the Jazz, becoming only the third player since the NBA-ABA merger to post at least a 30-20-10 stat line.

Player Date Pts Reb Ast
Nikola Jokic (Nuggets) 2020 30 21 10
DeMarcus Cousins (Pelicans; 2OT game) 2018 44 23 10
David Lee (Knicks) 2010 37 20 10

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Jokic is the 10th player in NBA history with a 30-20-10 triple-double, and only the second in the past 35 years to have such a triple-double in a win. DeMarcus Cousins is the other player.

Jokic had the stellar night against one of the league’s best defenders in Rudy Gobert. He was 14-of-24 from the field, including 13-of-14 when Gobert was guarding him, and 2-for-4 at the free throw line. Of his 21 boards, six were on the offensive end.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Jokic joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in NBA history with a 30-20-10 stat line on the road before turning 25.
