Clippers coach Doc Rivers fined $15,000

NEW YORK -- LA Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has been fined $15,000 for directing verbal abuse towards a game official and not leaving the court in a timely manner after his ejection, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 18.6 remaining in the first overtime of the Clippers’ 127-122 double-overtime loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Nov. 29 at Barclays Center.
