Kevin Garnett is known as one of the most versatile players in the game. Monday he showed the Clippers why. The forward scored 22, grabbed 11 rebounds and handed out eight assists in Minnesota's 93-78 win over the Clippers.
RICK KAMLA'S FANTASY TAKE
With Shaquille O'Neal out, fellow Heat center Alonzo Mourning is the perfect replacement. The veteran posted 11 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks.
GAME OF THE NIGHT
First Dwyane Wade put the Heat in position to win the game, then he made sure they did. Wade hit a free throw with 5.2 seconds left to give Miami a one-point lead, and then blocked Vince Carter's driving layup at the buzzer to seal the Heat's 90-89 win over the Nets.
QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
"He came into camp in great shape this season and hasn't missed a practice or a drill. I think he learned something from a year ago when he didn't come to camp in shape and struggled."
- Jazz coach Jerry Sloan on center Mehmet Okur.

Raymond Felton had a big game on both ends of the court in the Bobcats' overtime loss to the Jazz. The rookie handed out 10 assists and also made four steals.
COOL/CLUTCH PERFORMANCE
Tony Parker scored eight of his 22 points in the extra period to lead the Spurs to a 104-95 win over the Bulls.
