Completing a dynamic international trio in the Spurs backcourt alongside Tony Parker (France) and Manu Ginobili (Argentina), San Antonio's rookie rookie from Slovenia, Beno Udrih, is establishing himself as one of the bright young guards in the NBA. A five-year veteran of Euroleague basketball, Udrih is plying his trade in the Lone Star state, averaging 5.5 points, 1.0 rebound, 1.9 assists and 14.0 minutes in 51 games.

Udrih took time out during NBA All-Star 2005 to answer your e-mail questions.

What is it like to be given the chance to play with tim duncan, and are you excited to have a very good chance at winning an nba championship?

Udrih: "Playing with Timmy is great. Actually playing with all of my teammates is great, you know, because they are all great, so it's really great. And I think for going to the Finals, we have a lot of chances, but we've still got to get better and better every game, every practice to be even better than we are now in the playoffs, in the Finals. I think we have chances, but still we can't think about it now, we've just got to finish our regular season and then we're going to go."

I know that you know Rasho from the Slovenian National team, but I was wondering who else do you know from the Euroleague and International play? What is it like to see them now in the NBA?
-- Tom from Rochester, New York

Udrih: "A lot of them, really, so it's hard to say. I played against Chucky Atkins once, and Sasha Vujacic, he's a rookie from L.A."

Hey Beno. My name is Tom and im from Israel... what can you say about your improvement in this year? i remember you from Maccabi Tel Aviv and you are so better now!
-- Tomspz from Tel-Aviv, Israel

Udrih: "I came here like six months ago and I just said to myself to do the best that I can, and I'm giving 100% on the practice and the game, and that's it. And we're playing good actually like a team, the Spurs team. We have a great chemistry, a great team, great personality and we're doing very good now and we hope we're going to go all the way."

You are my favorite Spur! What's the best part of playing in the NBA and being a SA Spur?!?
-- Claudia from San Antonio, Texas

Udrih: "Well, you know, I never think about that, but I am very excited to be with such a good team and such an organized team with great personality, great character, everything. And, that's it, actually."

What are some of the biggest differences for you now in the NBA?
-- George from London, England

Udrih: "In Europe, everything is not so much run-and-gun game. It's more consistent and everything because there you have like 16 games in EuroLeague, every game counts. So, here it's a little bit different, a lot more games and everything. Sometimes you are very tired and don't have your legs like they should be and you just have to play."
