L.A. Lakers' Squad Takes Inaugural RadioShack Shooting Stars Title
The Lakers' Derek Fisher, Lisa Leslie of the L.A. Sparks and retired Laker Magic Johnson completed the RadioShack Shooting Stars competition in 43.9 seconds, earning them a first-place finish in the inaugural year of the event. The Spurs' contingent, consisting of Manu Ginobili, retired Silver Star Jennifer Azzi and retired Spur Steve Kerr finished the course in 46 seconds and the Clippers' team, represented by Marko Jaric, the L.A. Sparks' Nikki Teasley and retired Clipper Terry Cummings finished in third with a time of 49.8 seconds. Lastly, the Detroit representatives consisting of Chauncey Billups, the Shock's Cheryl Ford and retired Piston John Salley brought up the rear with a time of 66 seconds.• RadioShack Shooting Stars: 56k | 300k
