MVP: Oscar Robertson, Cincinnati

Cincinnati's Oscar Robertson, who played on a losing team only once in his nine appearances in the All-Star Game, walked off with his third MVP trophy after scoring 24 points and leading the East to a 123-112 victory over the West at the Baltimore Civic Center.

Sharing the spotlight with "the Big O" was Baltimore's Earl Monroe, who scored 21 points and worked his customary magic. Five other players scored in double figures for the East, including John Havlicek, who pulled down 7 rebounds to go with his 14 points.
