Philadelphia, Jan. 8 -- Philadelphia 76ers guard Eric Snow, WNBA star and Temple Women’s Head Basketball Coach Dawn Staley and NBA Legend World B. Free will serve as spokespersons for the 2002 NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by Fleer, it was announced today by the NBA at a press conference in City Hall featuring the Honorable John F. Street Mayor of Philadelphia, NBA Vice President Gail Hunter, Philadelphia 76ers Executive Vice President Dave Coskey and Fleer Director of Marketing Andrew Lilien.

With more than 300,000 square feet of interactive basketball activities, games and entertainment, Jam Session is the NBA’s basketball theme park and will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, February 7-10, offering affordable family activities during NBA All-Star 2002. Jam Session serves as one of the main highlights for the NBA’s All-Star activities for the week. Spokespersons Snow, Staley and Free will serve as hosts, coaches and judges for the various events and celebrity activities that will take place at Jam Session.

Jam Session also features an extensive trading card and collectibles area, NBA and WNBA player autograph sessions and clinics, displays of NBA memorabilia, and a complete collection of authentic NBA apparel and NBA All-Star 2002 souvenirs.

The hours of operation for the NBA All-Star Jam Session are as follows: Thursday, Feb. 7, 4 pm-10 pm; Friday, Feb. 8, 4 pm-10 pm; Saturday, Feb. 9, 9 am-10 pm; Sunday, Feb. 10, 9 am-5 pm.

Tickets for NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by Fleer are now on sale and available at all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com, 1-800-4NBA TIX and at the First Union Center box office. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children (ages 3-12) and senior citizens (55 and up). Tickets will be sold on a timed entry basis with availability for every hour on the hour. Jam Session debuted at the 1993 All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City. Since then it has grown into an integral part of the NBA All-Star experience, attracting hundreds of thousands of fans. Jam Session has also visited Canada, England, Italy, Australia, Mexico, Spain, Japan and Taiwan.
