Elton Brand will be filing a daily diary with NBA.com during his All-Star stay in Philly. Here's what he had to say about finding food and an early morning meeting on Saturday.

My NBA interviews and photo session yesterday went well. That's just part of the job and I enjoy doing it. It was short and sweet.

I finally ate at about … I don't think I ate. I don't think I've eaten in the last 50 hours!

No, I'm joking. Right after that I went and got some lunch. Just room service. I had some shrimp cocktail and a sandwich and some other things.

Last night, my agent David Falk had a party with Arn Tellem and the SFX group so I went to that. I don't know where it was … I've been so many places. Then my friends from Peekskill, we got together and went to a club called Egypt. I got in maybe at 10 or 11 (wink, wink) and got some rest.

We've been on the road for almost two weeks, but fortunately, I'm not having a laundry crisis. I wasn't sure if I was going to make the All-Star team or not, so I packed an extra set of clothes. And then I didn't ship them back when I found out I didn't make it, so I still had the clothes. I was prepared.

Anyway, this morning I went to the Players' Association Meeting. I have to find out what's going on with these contracts and the business side. It's not mandatory, but I got up at 9 and went to that. It was very informative.

Mom is here, maybe about five of my close friends and numerous people are driving up from Peekskill, N.Y. so I'm waiting for the influx of phone calls wanting tickets. I'm scrambling to get all the guys tickets.

I'm hungry again. No lunch yet. We've been too busy to eat. I'm going to eat after this practice.

So far the best part of the weekend is interacting with everyone. It's fun watching the guys razz each other, make fun of each other – like Kevin Garnett and Gary Payton. I'm just enjoying the festivities. It's a great time.

Gotta go practice. Catch you tomorrow!
