Yes, the action on the court at NBA Finals 2003 is amazing. But what happens off the floor, before the ball is tipped? All-Access Pass gives you "Ten Cool Things from Game 1" to give you a better idea of what really goes on at the arena. Here's what was seen and heard at the SBC Center on Wednesday night.

1. ESPN's Fred Carter Answers Three Burning Questions:
Darko or Carmelo? "Darko. Darko is younger and taller. He will have a longer shelf life. When he loses his jumping ability, he'll still be tall for rebounds."
Where Should Nets Have Parade If They Win? "Meadowlands."
Walton or Tolbert? "Fred Carter."

2. Small Ball Stands Tall:
Jason the honorary ball boy grinning from ear-to-ear just before getting ready to rebound for his favorite Spur, Bruce Bowen.

3. Remember the Commode:
Going to the restroom, only to find that even the bathroom signage is decorated with cowboy hats and boots with spurs.

4. Russ Bengston from Slam Magazine Answers Three Burning Questions:
Darko or Carmelo? "Darko."
Where should the Nets have the parade if they win? "Oh man ... down the turnpike (laughs)."
Walton or Tolbert? "That's tough. I'll have to say Tolbert."

5. Sign Antonio:
Seeing all the clever fan signs at the arena, including "Hey, Shaq & Kobe, need tickets?" and "Jack Nicholson watching the Finals at home: Priceless."

6. Nets GM Rod Thorn Answers Three Burning Questions:
Darko or Carmelo? "Both are terrific. You can't go wrong with either one."
Where should the Nets have the parade if they win? "(Laughs) I am trying not to think that far ahead."
Walton or Tolbert? "Tough question. Both are good. But Bill has a little more experience, so I'll go with him."

7. Kings Swingman Jim Jackson Answers Three Burning Questions:
Darko or Carmelo? "Detroit needs a big guy, but I am going with Carmelo."
Where should the Nets have the parade if they win? "Somewhere near the arena. Maybe the parking lot."
Walton or Tolbert? "Neither (laughs)."

8. Two Fans, Fourteen Feet:
Seeing Bob Lanier and Artis Gilmore go to sit down at the SBC Center and then look at each other quizzically and wonder how they were going to fit their long limbs into their seats.

9. Restricted Access

10. Is He Ready? Or Is He Kidd-ing?:
Watching Bob Lanier trying to strike up a conversation with Jason Kidd during warmups. "Hey Jason, you ready?" asked Lanier. Kidd calmly hit a long three. "Sure enough. He's ready," said Lanier. Kidd wound up going 4-for-17 from the floor in Game 1.
