"I think former player John Long would do an excellent job as a commentator for ABC."

"The way I always was introduced in the past was with the theme from 'Rocky.'"

What's your favorite thing about the city of Detroit?
"The people here in Detroit. The fans. They're wonderful, they're great supporters, and they make you feel loved."

ABC's Doc Rivers will be coaching the Celtics next season. Who should be his replacement?
"It'd be fun to see a player get in there. I love all the coaches, but I would love to see a player and really give us that insight. Maybe a player who just retired. Give us insight into exactly what goes on with a team."

The Pistons are introduced with flamethrowers. How would you want to be introduced?
"I think the drumroll just never gets old. I don't know if I'm so into the fire, because it definitely gets hot. But I think a spotlight, silence, drumroll and then your name announced. And I'm not scared to do the worm."

What's your favorite thing about the city of Detroit?
"The name. I used to get confused all the time, because I would say 'Dee-TROIT.' And I've noticed a lot of people say, 'DEE-troit.' Like 'DEE-troit BAS-KET-ball.' So it's a pretty cool name."

"Nothing. Just do the starting lineup and start the game."

"The golf. Oakland Hills is my favorite thing about Detroit."

"I talked to Doc the other day and I told him he shouldn't leave. He's got the greatest job, and he's also done an incredible job with it. But I think ESPN's Greg Anthony would do an amazing job for ABC."

"Those flames are hot as (heck). I like the bell they use for Ben Wallace. I think that's one of the best introductions ever."

What's your favorite thing about the city of Detroit?
"The golf course, Oakland Hills. I just played there today."
