NBA Africa - Who We Are
The NBA has had a presence in Africa for over a decade but in 2010 decided the time was right to open its first office on the continent. NBA Africa was officially launched in May of 2010. Its small but growing staff is headed by Amadou Gallo Fall, a 14 year NBA executive from Senegal, and a renown figure in African basketball.
“The opportunity for basketball in Africa is tremendous and we are poised to use the excitement of the NBA brand to grow the sport. NBA Africa offers an exciting proposition to all partners looking for a fresh global sports property that is committed and deepening its roots in Africa.”
