HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston Rockets forward Chandler Parsons will miss Saturday's game against Detroit with an illness.

Jordan Hamilton, who was acquired from Denver on Feb. 20, will start in Parsons' place. Hamilton has averaged 14 points in two games with the Rockets.

Parsons is third on the Rockets, averaging 16.7 points a game and has hit 39 percent of his 3-pointers this season. It is the sixth game Parsons has missed this season as he missed games Dec. 2-4 with back spasms and Jan. 8-11 with a sore right knee.

In the five games Parsons has missed this year, the Rockets are 2-3.
