Magic's Afflalo, Vucevic to sit out vs. Bulls

Posted Jan 15, 2014 1:43 PM

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- The Orlando Magic remain without a pair of starters for its matchup with the Chicago Bulls.

Magic coach Jacque Vaughn says guard Arron Afflalo is out for the third straight game with a strained right foot, and center Nik Vucevic is missing his fifth straight game on Wednesday recovering from a concussion.

Vaughn says Vucevic is still going through the NBA concussion protocol and Afflalo is feeling better, but is still not ready to play.

The Magic are coming off a 0-5 road trip and have lost eight consecutive games overall.

They face a Bulls' team that is 3-1 since trading forward Luol Deng.
