NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The New Orleans Pelicans waived reserve forward Lou Amundson on Tuesday.
Amundson, an eight-year veteran, played in 18 games for the Pelicans this season, averaging 2.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.6 blocks in 10.2 minutes.
The 6-foot-9 Amundson has appeared in 345 career games and has career averages of 3.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.7 blocks and 12.7.
The move leaves the Pelicans' roster with 14 players.
New Orleans plays at Minnesota on Wednesday night.
