Bulls' Hinrich, Deng to miss game against Thunder

Posted Dec 19, 2013 8:10 PM

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Chicago Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich and forward Luol Deng will miss Thursday night's game at Oklahoma City.

Hinrich will miss his fourth consecutive game due to tightness in his back. D.J. Augustin, signed on Friday, made his first start in Hinrich's place in Wednesday night's loss at Houston, finishing with eight points and nine assists.

Deng is out with a sore Achilles. He had 18 points against the Rockets and is averaging a team-best 19.6 points.

Coach Tom Thibodeau says he doesn't expect either player to be out for an extended period.
