WASHINGTON (AP) -- Washington Wizards guard Glen Rice has had surgery on a broken right wrist and will be sidelined three to six weeks.
The Wizards announced that Rice had an outpatient procedure Wednesday in New York.
The team said Rice had experienced pain in his wrist leading up to Monday's game against the New York Knicks.
Rice was a second-round pick in this year's draft. He has averaged 2.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11 games.
