Posted Nov 19, 2013 8:17 PM

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- New York Knicks guard Raymond Felton missed Tuesday night's game at Detroit with an injured left hip and lower back.

New York started Beno Udrih and Iman Shumpert in the backcourt. The Pistons were short-handed, too. Guards Chauncey Billups, who has knee tendinitis, and Will Bynum, who has a sore left hamstring, missed the game.

Felton is averaging 11.1 points and 5.2 assists on the season.
