Timberwolves waive Brown, Jeffers

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived guards Lorenzo Brown and Othyus Jeffers.

The team made the announcement Friday. The Timberwolves' roster now stands at 16 players.

Brown averaged 4.0 points in three preseason games. Jeffers played in six preseason games, averaging 4.3 points and 3.5 rebounds.
