Spurs sign Howard

SAN ANTONIO ( ) -- The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have signed forward Josh Howard. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not announced.

Howard, 6-foot-7, was originally drafted 29th overall in the first round of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks where he played for seven seasons (2003-10). He has also suited up for the Washington Wizards (2010-11), Utah Jazz (2011-12) and the Minnesota Timberwolves (2012-13).

In 507 career NBA games, the Wake Forest product has averaged 14.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 30.3 minutes.
