Lakers sign second-round pick Kelly

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Ryan Kelly, their second-round draft pick out of Duke.

The Lakers announced the signing Friday.

The 6-foot-11 Kelly was the 48th overall pick in this summer's draft. He played four seasons with the Blue Devils, averaging 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots last season despite missing 13 games with injuries.

Los Angeles opens training camp next weekend.
