Suns sign Christmas

PHOENIX (AP) -- The Phoenix Suns have signed 6-foot-5 guard Dionte Christmas to a multiyear contract.

Christmas averaged 10.1 points for the Suns' entry in the Las Vegas Summer League. He played the last four seasons internationally for teams in Israel, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Greece, Russia and Italy.

He played four years at Temple, averaging 15.7 points.
