PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Portland Trail Blazers guard Wesley Matthews was helped off the court with a right ankle injury against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.
Matthews appeared to roll his ankle with 8:27 left in the second quarter and he did not return. The extent of the injury was not immediately known.
The three-year NBA veteran was averaging 15 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists going into the game.
