Clippers sign Wayns to second 10-day deal

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Los Angeles Clippers have signed guard Maalik Wayns to a second 10-day contract.

He had two points and five assists in a 129-97 win over the Detroit Pistons on March 10, his only game so far for the team. Wayns averaged 12.4 points and 3.0 assists in nine games for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA's D-League this season.

He began the season with the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 2.7 points and 1.0 assist in 21 games earlier this season.
