Clippers sign guard Wayns to 10-day contract

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Los Angeles Clippers have signed guard Maalik Wayns to a 10-day contract.

Wayns averaged 12.4 points and 3.0 assists in nine games for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the D-League this season.

The 6-foot-2 guard, who wasn't drafted out of Villanova, began the season with the 76ers. He averaged 2.7 points and 1.0 assist in 21 games.
