DENVER (AP) -- Forward Sam Young was re-signed Monday by the Indiana Pacers, three weeks after being released by the club.
Young, a four-year veteran, made the team out of training camp and appeared in 28 games before being waived on Jan. 6. He was averaging 3.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
The 6-foot-6 Young played previously for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Memphis Grizzlies. He entered the league in 2009 as a second round pick of the Grizzlies.
