Wolves' Love returns after missing game with eye injury

Posted Dec 26, 2012 7:32 PM

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves will have Kevin Love back in the starting lineup for Wednesday night's game against the Houston Rockets.

Love, averaging 19.6 points and 13.9 rebounds, returns after missing Sunday's game against New York with an eye injury.

Wolves coach Rick Adelman said Ricky Rubio could see his minutes increased as he continues his comeback from reconstructive knee surgery.

Rubio is averaging 4.5 assists while playing about 18 minutes per game.

"I think it's going to take him some time," Adelman said. "You just have to keep playing. His legs are going to get better. His conditioning is going to get better."
