ATLANTA (AP) -- The Atlanta Hawks have assigned rookies John Jenkins and Mike Scott to their Bakersfield NBA Development League affiliate.

Neither first-year player has seen significant playing time.
Jenkins, a guard from Vanderbilt, has scored six points in 13 minutes. Jenkins was the team's first-round pick this year.
Scott, a forward from Virginia who was selected in the second round, has two points and four rebounds in 16 minutes.
Each player is expected to be available in Bakersfield's game against Santa Cruz on Monday night.
