OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Rockets forward Chandler Parsons will miss Houston's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night because of a right shoulder injury.

Acting coach Kelvin Sampson said Parsons has been unable to lift his right arm past 45 degrees after injuring it on Tuesday night in a victory against Toronto. He was uncertain of the exact nature of the injury but says he believes it is a tissue problem and not a joint issue.
Daequan Cook, who was sent from Oklahoma City to Houston in the James Harden trade before the season, replaced Parsons in the starting lineup.
The Rockets were playing after attending the funeral of coach Kevin McHale's daughter, Sasha, in Minnesota earlier in the day.
