EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake will be sidelined at least two more weeks with an abdominal strain.

The backup point guard had an MRI exam Wednesday.
Blake has missed eight games with the injury, which sidelined him in the first half Nov. 11 at Sacramento. He will miss at least seven more games.
Blake's injury occurred at a particularly inopportune time for the Lakers, who also have been without starting point guard Steve Nash since the second game of the regular season. The two-time NBA MVP has a small fracture in his right leg, with no date set for his return.
Darius Morris has struggled while starting the Lakers' last eight games at point guard. He was held to one point on 0-for-6 shooting by Indiana on Tuesday night.
