NEW YORK (AP) -- Jerry Colangelo has been re-elected to a second term as chairman of USA Basketball after overseeing a program that has dominated world basketball under his guidance.

Colangelo started as USA Basketball managing director in 2005 before being elected to his first term as chairman. The U.S. men and women won gold in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and 2010 world basketball championships, and both programs are ranked No. 1 in the world.
Colangelo said this summer he planned to stay on, though both men's coach Mike Krzyzewski of Duke and women's coach Geno Auriemma of Connecticut have said they don't plan to return.
There also were 10 other board of directors members, appointed by the NBA, NCAA and other organizations, announced Tuesday at USA Basketball's meeting in Colorado Springs, Colo. They are players Chauncey Billups and Katie Smith; players' association executive director Billy Hunter; NBA vice presidents Kim Bohuny and Mark Tatum; NCAA executives Dan Gavitt and Mark Lewis; Texas women's athletic director Chris Plonsky; NAIA President and CEO Jim Carr; and National Federation of High School Associations executive director Bob Gardner.
