LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Authorities say Los Angeles Lakers forward Devin Ebanks was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

California Highway Patrol officer Mike Harris says Ebanks was seen committing a traffic violation at 2:49 a.m. local time on Friday and was arrested.

The 23-year-old was booked into custody at about 3:45 a.m. and released a few hours later after posting $5,000 bail.

He's due back in court Dec. 7.
