MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- The Memphis Grizzlies have exercised the fourth-year option on swingman Quincy Pondexter, keeping him under contract through the 2013-14 season.

The team announced the move Wednesday night.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pound Pondexter averaged 4.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 15.7 minutes last season for Memphis after being picked acquired in a trade from New Orleans for Greivis Vasquez on Dec. 24. Pondexter has averaged 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 130 career games.
Pondexter left Washington as the school's leader with 136 games played and was drafted 26th overall in 2010 by Oklahoma City. The Thunder traded his rights that night to New Orleans.
