Clippers waive forward Plaisted, guard Thorns

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Los Angeles Clippers waived forward Trent Plaisted and guard Hank Thorns on Thursday.
Plaisted averaged 0.7 points and 5.0 minutes in three preseason games. Thorns averaged 1.2 points and 3.4 minutes in five exhibition games.
The moves leave the team's roster at 16 players.
