EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- Kobe Bryant has sat out of practice with the Los Angeles Lakers for the second straight day to rest his injured right foot.
After Bryant missed Tuesday's practice, he said he probably won't play in the Lakers' preseason game against the Clippers on Wednesday night.
Bryant also missed Monday's practice after bruising and straining his right foot during the Lakers' loss to Sacramento on Sunday night, dropping them to 0-6.
Bryant missed one exhibition game earlier this month to rest a sore right shoulder.
Dwight Howard didn't participate in contact drills during Tuesday's practice while recovering from general soreness after his Lakers debut Sunday. Coach Mike Brown isn't sure whether Howard will play against the Clippers.
Los Angeles finishes the preseason in San Diego against the Kings on Thursday night.
