EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- The Los Angeles Lakers have waived forward Chris Douglas-Roberts and center Greg Somogyi.

The Lakers trimmed their preseason roster to 16 players on Monday.
Douglas-Roberts spent last season in Italy after playing in 155 NBA games over three years with New Jersey and Milwaukee.
The 7-foot-3 Somogyi played four seasons at UC Santa Barbara.
Los Angeles must make at least one more roster move in the next week. The Lakers open the regular season Oct. 30 at home against Dallas.
