DALLAS (AP) -- The Dallas Mavericks have waived Tu Holloway and DJ Mbenga.

The moves Tuesday put the Dallas training camp roster at 16 players. Holloway, an undrafted rookie, and the 7-foot Mbenga, who was previously with the Mavericks, were signed as free agents last Thursday before camp.
Mbenga was originally a rookie free agent for the Mavericks in 2004 after playing on the team's summer league squad. He played in 79 games before being waived at the start of the 2007 season. He has since played for Golden State, the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans, and has averaged 1.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in 234 career games.
Holloway played at Xavier, where in four seasons he averaged 13.7 points and 4.1 assists per game.
