AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- The Detroit Pistons have added Vyacheslav Kravtsov with a multiyear contract.

The team announced the signing Saturday after saying this month that it planned to sign the 24-year-old Ukrainian center.
Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars says Kravtsov has good rebounding and shot-blocking ability.
The 6-foot-11 Kravtsov has played for the Ukrainian national team since 2006. He averaged 10.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in the Ukrainian Superleague last season.
Detroit has gotten post player Greg Monroe some help this offseason by also drafting Connecticut center Andre Drummond with No. 9 pick overall.
