AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Kyle Singler has signed a three-year contract with the Detroit Pistons after spending last season playing in Spain.

The Pistons drafted the 6-foot-8 Singler in the second round of last year's draft, but the lockout shortened the NBA season and the former Duke standout went overseas. He played in Spain for both Lucentum Alicante and Real Madrid, averaging 14.4 points for Lucentum Alicante and 7.9 for Real Madrid. Real Madrid reached the ACB finals before losing to Barcelona.
The Pistons announced the move Wednesday but did not disclose terms.
