NEW YORK (AP -- Jeremy Lin has hired new representatives to handle business opportunities following his breakout season with the New York Knicks.

Lin, who will become a restricted free agent next month, retained the sports practice at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, led by agent Jim Tanner. Tanner says on Thursday in a statement the firm will represent Lin in areas such as marketing endorsements, licensing, personal appearances, media relations and community investments.
The firm will collaborate with Lin's agent, Roger Montgomery, on free agency and basketball matters.
Undrafted out of Harvard University, Lin became the Knicks' starting point guard in February and averaged 24.6 points in a remarkable 10-game run that made him the NBA's biggest story. The Knicks can match any offer he receives and have said they intend to keep him.
