Garnett fined for snubbing media after Game 7 of East finals

NEW YORK -- Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics has been fined $25,000 for failing to make himself available to the media following Boston's 101-88 loss to the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals on June 9 at AmericanAirlines Arena.

The fine was announced Wednesday by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.
