Nuggets' Harrington leaves game with broken nose

Posted May 5 2012 1:03AM

DENVER (AP) -- Nuggets forward Al Harrington's nose was broken when he caught an inadvertent elbow from the Los Angeles Lakers' Andrew Bynum as they battled for a rebound late in the third quarter of Friday night's first-round playoff game.

Harrington left the game with 48 seconds remaining in the third quarter and the team said he would not return. There was no immediate word on his status for Sunday's Game 4 at the Pepsi Center.

A key reserve, Harrington scored seven points before being sidelined.
